The Letrari Farm, founded in 1976 by expert oenologist Leonello Letrari and his wife Maria Vittoria, finds its origins in Borghetto all’Adige , a time border between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Kingdom of Italy, today between Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige.

The Letrari family tree dates back to 1647 and the founders’ love for wine has also been handed down to their children, Lucia and Paolo.

Today it is Lucia, awarded a diploma in oenology in 1987, who manages the successful family farm with the same competence as that of her parents. Shaped by the distinctive terroir and the Vallagarina microclimate – an environment caracterized by the river Adige and influenced by the Mediterranean air – it produces twenty-five different varieties of quality wine with strong tipicities. The zone’s temperate climate also allows for the limited production of an extra virgin olive oil with an exceptional hint of fruit.

The Letrari Farm, with twenty-three hectares worth of vineyards located in various areas found throughout Vallagrina, has its headquarters in the modern winery of Borgo Sacco in Rovereto, surrounded by a vast garden rich in Mediterranean plant species. Those who appreciate good wine come all year round to visit the vineyards and cellar and of course, taste the wines; with a reservation, lunch for groups of up to sixty people can be arranged.
